Our journey started with the bright sunny day with a romantic climate. We ahead to Bhagamandala from Virajpet, we travelled Bhagamandala via Moornadu in Coorg District. Bhagamandala is about 40kms from Madikeri,Coorg district’s main city. Bhagamandala is a sacred place in Coorg it also called as Bhagundeshwara Kshetra.
The river Kaveri, Kanika and Sujyothi is said to join from underground said kudala, sangama or triveni sangama in Kannada and Sanskrit. The temple is built in Kerala style and has smaller shrines dedicated to various gods. It is a tradition to have dip in the triveni sangama before forwarding to Talakaveri the birth place of river kaveri. At last our journey ended with gust of rain. It was a very traditional and religious experience to us.
